General terms and conditions of business
Finally, we would like to draw your attention to our terms and conditions, which apply as follows when a booking is made. Please note that these terms and conditions apply exclusively when the booking is completed.
With the conclusion of the event contract, the guest must pay a deposit of 50% of the booked services and the number of guests specified up to this point in time. Events in the form of conferences/workshops are excluded from the down payment.
Reservations made for hotel rooms, as well as seminar and banquet rooms, are binding and can only be canceled by the customer in writing. We reserve the right to:
In the event of withdrawal by the guest, the following services apply in the scale below:
- Up to 180 days before the event date, 30% of the booked service
- 179 days to 120 days before the event date 50% of the booked service
- 119 days to 60 days before the event date, 70% of the booked service
- 59 days to 30 days before the event date, 90% of the booked service
- 29 days or less before the event date, 100% of the booked service
Individual rooms (maximum three) at events can be canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the event.
The Deidesheimer Hof acts in the name and for the account of the customer in order to procure technical or other equipment from third parties or to book services. The customer is liable for the care and proper return and releases the hotel from claims. All menus are specially prepared for you by our kitchen team. It would therefore be of great help to us if you would give us an approximate number of people about seven days before your event and the definitive number three days before the event. We ask for your understanding if menus that have already been prepared are billed when the number of people is reduced. Therefore, let us know the number of your guests as early as possible. You support our work in the preparatory phase, also in your special interest.
The prices of our written contract offer apply. All prices include the statutory VAT applicable at the time of the event and the service charge (inclusive prices). The term of payment is net 8 days from the invoice date.
Special services or goods provided by third parties that have arisen at the time of cancellation may be charged to the client. All previous menu offers are no longer valid with this edition.
If the customer does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or in another EU member state, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is our place of business. If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the court responsible for our place of business.
Our separate rooms are available to you without additional rent, provided that the number of people corresponds to the size of the room. Otherwise we charge a distance rent of €10.00 per person difference between the actual number of people and the capacity of the room. The same basis for calculation applies when renting additional rooms.
